Would I live in Charlottetown?
If I had a choice to go live in Charlottetown and I didn't have anything to lose, I would choose to live there. Toronto looses it's fun after spending all of my life here and nothing is new or interesting anymore. In Charlottetown, it's a great, small and vibrant community that will make you feel right at home! It has natural beauty, lots of green and a fresh ocean air, which I love. There is always something going on and that's why it's one of the number one destinations to experience festivals and events. They have a great climate that doesn't get too cold in the winter and not too hot in the summer. I hate the hot weather we usually have here in the summer so I would definitely enjoy the warmer seasons in Charlottetown. I also love going to the beach and swimming and sometimes the water is just too cold here in Toronto. The beaches at Charlottetown are gorgeous and the waters are actually warm due to the Gulf of St. Lawrence. Charlottetown has it's own personality that is full of culture and family events. It's a place that I would enjoy living in for all of those reasons and many more.
Some downsides of living in Charlottetown, would be the long winters and colder springs. Their winters are longer than most places and their precipitation amount is huge! I guess it would be fun to have a lot of snow, but a lot of rain just gets annoying. It rains around 1 out of 3 days and that's just way too much for my taste. Spring also takes a while to get warm again because of the ocean waters so that's a challenge because I would want to enjoy a nice warm spring. The population isn't all that big either and I enjoy a busy city with a lot of people, but I could cope with it since it's not that big of a problem.
This is why I want to live in Charlottetown.
